The Maritime History Archive

The Maritime History Archive collects and preserves documents relating to the history of maritime activities in Newfoundland and Labrador and throughout the North Atlantic world.

On-line Catalog

All of the fonds (or collections) and single manuscripts held at the Maritime History Archive are described in a standard format and entered onto an electronic catalog. The catalog provides descriptions of our holdings at the highest level of description, which is the whole of the fonds (or record unit). Finding aids provide the more detailed description that is often required for research. Some Finding Aids are available in electronic format. Look for the hyperlink in the catalog record.

Location

The Archive is located in the Henrietta Harvey (Mathematics) building on the campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
